St. Augustine said it best, “How you view God determines how you view your fellow man; how you view your fellow man will determine the government you will have, and it is that government who will determine whether you will live in freedom or bondage.”  The separation between Church and State has always been a lie.  Government should never influence religious faith; but historically, the influence of Biblical Christianity has always been the bulwark of liberty for communities of all faiths.

 

Welcome to the Watchmen - men and women who prepare churches and communities for today’s emerging social challenges.    Here, you will find the insight, activities, and resources needed to protect your family and impact your community for the better.

Using Biblical precepts that have preserved the church for 1500 years, the Watchmen:
 

• Bring awareness of legislative actions hostile to our children, families, marriages, community, and to our faith. 
   

• Provide citizens with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to influence local government beyond merely voting.
   

• Prepare and strengthen Christian church leaders and their congregations to stand against the increasing hostility toward free speech, family, education, and self-determined wellness.
   

• Welcome those who seek truth and respite from the daily pressures of our corrupted culture.

 

For those concerned about growing media and government hostilities toward your family, your prosperity, and your faith, the Watchmen strive to enable you to connect, protect, thrive, and influence the communities you live in for the better.  We host community awareness events, publish newsletters, and provide inspirational Christian Heritage articles & podcasts as well as point you to resources that make a difference.

The best thing you can do to make our communities safer and our government more responsive is to volunteer an hour/week among like-minded friends.  Here, you will find small things you can do that have a significant impact where you live. 

 

Volunteer opportunities include helping with community awareness events or ongoing activities.  We always have a good time!

 

We particularly welcome those retired for the simple reason that you appreciate the liberties lost and the dire impact that a missing moral compass has on our culture.  Here is your chance to serve, mentor younger patriots, and pass on the faith and the community that you constructed and love.
